What do you love about tutoring your students?
Besides from really enjoying it, I find it rewarding. I think helping a student feels as though they have accomplished something, is really gratifying and I love to see their progress. More than that, tutoring is not just about the grades but also the mentoring, which gives me the opportunity to build great relationships with my students.
Tell us something interesting about yourself?
I love to travel and have been lucky enough to live abroad. In particular I lived in Israel for a year, where I volunteered as a Mail and Records Analyst at the Bahai World Center. I have also lived in a number of little villages in Fiji where I volunteered as a travel teacher. I have also just returned from the US where I did a study semester in Buffalo, NY.
Outside of tutoring, what keeps you busy?
Besides from doing my Arts/Law degree, I volunteer and like to play a part in my local community. I am an animator of a junior youth empowerment program for 12-15yr olds. I also run a children’s class in my home that focuses on virtues and moral development.
